Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has implemented the visa-exempt measures for 11 nationals of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean from 12 July 2017. The number of days that can be stayed as following:
- Visa-exempt for 30 days: Belize, Dominican, Guatemala, St. Vincent, St. Christopher and Nevis, Santa Lucia.
- Visa-exempt for 90 days: Paraguay, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua.
To use visa-exempt to enter Taiwan, the foreigners need to meet below requirements:
- Holding an ordinary passport, the validity of the passport shall be 6 months or more.
- Holding the return / next destination boat/ flight ticket, and the destination country valid visa if required.
- No bad record from airport inspection authority.
